Hello. My name is Lori Ferrara and I am an Artist, Wife, Mother and currently a full time Human Services Employee. I live on the East Coast in the United States of America.
As a child, I would spend countless hours amusing myself by drawing-animals, people and objects- but mostly people. For me, it was a pain staking task just the same- as I struggled to get every detail precisely right. This did not allow me any room for imagination. As the years went by, I drifted away from my art work. Then a little over a year ago, my husband gifted me a digital art painting program. Sadly, I am far from savvy with anything electronic, or computer related; however, I have come to really enjoy learning to work with this new medium.
In some respects, I feel free to explore and experiment in ways that I would not have dared to before. And- people are not my main subject matter focus any more- wild, surreal, alien-like and/or uncultivated landscapes appear to be more "my thing" now !
